Darkflow was formed in August 2008 by Timothy McVeins and Fretbot in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Joe Turner joined soon after and Michael Braga
joined in December 2008. These songs are improvised at rehearsals, recorded by Joe Turner, mixed and produced by Timothy McVeins and mastered
by Joel Simches. We rotate instruments. Album designs, animations and websites by Timothy McVeins. Mong-jane Wu is the OFFICIAL Darkflow
Photographer/Videographer. Joel Simches is the OFFICIAL Darkflow Mastering Engineer and live Soundman. Darkflow's self-titled debut was
released July 7, 2009. Ajda The Turkish Queen played flute on "Exordium" and "Space Raga" and Jim Whittaker spoke on "Exordium" and
"Space Raga" - words by Dr. Alexander Kashlinsky of NASA. Timothy is currently mixing Darkflow's second record, "Distance Varies".
Craig Dorfman played drums on "The Spectral Weight", Joel Simches played Moog on "Distance Varies", Parmenator X played bass on
"The Spectral Weight", Nellie Gray spoke on "Rotating Radio Transients", Dr. James L. Fanson spoke on "Calibration Phase", Dr. Amy Mainzer spoke on
"The Evolution Of Dust", Dr. David Latham and
Dr. Ronald Gilliland spoke on "Transmission Coefficient".
